Pool Store Canada -- Great, This product -- NOT

Like the other reviews, dealing with Roger is prompt and the products arrive quickly. However, this is NOT a good product for a chlorine dispenser; 1" diameter tabs for a 1.75" opening is terrible; they do not stack well while loading, and too much water circulates around them in the spa so they dissolve too quickly leading to overly-high and them non-existent chlorine levels. WARNING: Read the Returns Policy -- once you open them they cannot be returned. I will be looking for an alternative product, and if Pool Store Canada do not have one, I am back to the local pool store.

Not the correct product for a chlorine dispenser

Great pre-sale service, quick delivery, but a sub-standard product. The size of the tablets is about 1" diameter, so they do not load well into a chlorine dispenser with a 1.75" opening; constantly going on end and rattling around in the opening. Likewise, the gap means that more water is circulating around the tabs so they dissolve far more quickly than intended and over long periods you start with very high chlorine levels followed by very low then none at all. I will order from Pool Store Canada again, but not for this product. If I cannot find an alternative that fits the dispenser, it will be back to my local pool store

Hi Gary, The dispenser damage is caused by over chlorination of the hot tub water as mentioned in my earlier email. For a standard hot tub you only need 2 tablets max. Always read the instructions on the chemical container for the correct amount.
